A household clearance rarely comes up by choice. Most often it's about the loss of a family member, or the fact that a loved one can no longer live alone and is moving into a care facility. In both cases the situation is already difficult enough – clearing the flat shouldn't become an extra burden on top. We're aware that a household often holds more than furniture and objects. That's why we proceed thoughtfully, set aside keepsakes and documents separately on request, and agree every step with you beforehand. At the same time, we make sure deadlines are met, for example when a flat needs to be returned to the landlord by a certain date – reliably, and without you needing to be on site multiple times.

No. After a joint appointment where we discuss what should be kept, we can also carry out the clearance independently. Many relatives find this a relief, especially during this time.
On request, we set aside photos, letters, jewellery and other keepsakes separately and hand them to you before the rest of the household goods are disposed of or recovered.
First we inspect the flat or house free of charge and without obligation – happily together with you or other relatives. You then receive a fixed-price quote covering all discussed services. Once you confirm, we agree the date and handle the entire process through to the swept-clean handover to the landlord or buyer.
Well-preserved furniture, crockery or clothing doesn't have to be thrown away. By arrangement we pass it on for reuse or to charitable organisations. For items of value, a credit against the job can be agreed case by case – we discuss this openly during the inspection.
We work calmly, respectfully and without unnecessary attention towards neighbours or the building community. Our staff treat everything they find in the flat confidentially. We're happy to accommodate special requests where possible, such as particular times for the removal.
